castle, built in IX century to defend the town from Longobards.

church dedicated to Saint Nicholas

Mezzacapo Palace with
a great wood entrance and two marble staircases that
lead to the rich Salone delle Rappresentanze
with a vault ceiling painted with the "Trionfo degli
olimpici". In 1943 it became the American headquarter

Avvocata Sanctuary,
it is situated at 900 m above the sea-level at the slopes
of Falerzio Mount, it is attainable only
through a very long staircase

spring of sulphurous water that has a diuretic

charming stalactites and stalagmites

the beach of "Cavallo Morto" (dead
horse) because in the past it was used to get rid of
dead horses
